Once in awhile we create something without any hiccups, conflict or problems of any sort. This was one of those golden projects and a welcomed change because the three projects that came before were a complete pain in the ass.
The brand, website and marketing collateral materialized with such a natural ease but we couldn’t take all the credit for that. The Attorneys we were working with were just flat out cool people. In fact, they have a similar story to ours. These guys and gals are top talent within their field – rainmakers, most of whom held the status of partner at one of the largest firms in the world. After two and a half decades running in the same rate race they just snapped, threw up the bird with one hand and a deuce with the other and went off to start their own firm.
Each of of them had a SoCal vibe. Startling especially after reviewing their credentials prior to meeting with them for the first time. When describing what they wanted us to create we were inundated with words like “sick vibes”, “chill” and “slick”. Often times we were addressed as “dude” or “man”, even “bro” was used quite frequently which we thought was simply magnificent. I suppose that’s why this project seemed to flow so naturally. The easy going atmosphere to the meetings, causal way of communicating even the most important information and the general air of positivity highlighted a different way of doing business, especially within their stuffy profession. Don’t get me wrong, ALL of them were sharp and direct but only when need be. If something critical was misunderstood or we strayed off into a direction that didn’t seem to be promising the veil was dropped and their thunder was heard. Sort of a wolf in sheep’s clothing type vibe and we can see how that too can be a valuable strategy which has contributed to their success.
Now that we’ve yammered on and on about the bunch of unicorns that created MFG Law rather than the project itself, we’ll let you take a look at this stunning project that we’re all very proud of.
